Creativity has the power to bring people together, slow us down and reconnect us to ourselves and one another.

Creative wellness experiences designed to foster connection, self-expression, stress relief and community engagement through accessible, process-focused creative practices.

What is Community Wellness?

Community wellness programs create space for people to slow down, connect, reflect, and engage creatively in a supportive environment.

Through expressive arts experiences, collaborative projects, guided workshops, movement, writing, and process-focused art-making, participants are invited to explore creativity without pressure, perfectionism, or the need to “be good at art.”

These experiences are designed to support stress relief, self-expression, mindfulness, connection, and community well-being through accessible creative practices rooted in arts-in-health and expressive arts approaches.

Creativity Without Pressure

Unlike traditional art classes that focus on creating a specific final product, these experiences emphasize the creative process itself.

Participants are encouraged to create spontaneously, explore curiosity, experiment with materials, and engage in reflection and self-expression without the pressure to perform or “get it right.”

The goal is not perfection; it’s presence, connection, creativity, and meaningful shared experience.

About My Approach

A safe and supportive space for all levels.

My work is rooted in expressive arts, arts-in-health practices, mindfulness, and community-centered creative experiences that support connection, reflection, and well-being.

With a background in arts in healthcare, community arts programming, and expressive arts facilitation, I create accessible, process-focused experiences that invite participants to engage creatively without pressure, perfectionism, or the need to “be good at art.”

Rather than focusing on creating a perfect final product, these experiences emphasize the creative process itself, encouraging curiosity, self-expression, playfulness, reflection, and meaningful human connection.

Programs may incorporate visual art, creative writing, movement, mindfulness, and collaborative art-making depending on the needs of the group or community.

Whether facilitating a workshop, community art project, retreat, or wellness experience, my intention is to create welcoming spaces where people can slow down, connect, create, and feel more grounded in themselves and in community.

Client Reviews

“I attended a Yoga + Mandala making workshop led by Cat at Intent Space and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Cat makes mandala making accessible for all and holds excellent space for healing. Through the process of visualization, mandala creation, and journaling, I was able to tap into and become aware of underlying emotional currents and express and work through them in a healthy, healing way. Thank you Cat.”
