A Creative Approach to Well-Being at Work

“When people feel supported, connected, and calm — they work better, lead better, and live better.”

Corporate Wellness Workshops for Stress Relief, Team Bonding and Employee Well-being

Why Creative Wellness Belongs in the Workplace

Today’s workplaces are fast-paced, emotionally demanding, and often overwhelming. Stress, burnout, and disconnection are at an all-time high — and organizations are searching for meaningful ways to support their people.

Expressive arts offer a research-backed, accessible solution.

Studies show that incorporating creative experiences into the workday can:

  • Lower stress and cortisol levels

  • Improve focus, problem-solving & emotional regulation

  • Increase employee retention and job satisfaction

  • Strengthen communication, connection & team bonding

  • Boost overall well-being and morale

After facilitating hundreds of corporate sessions for hospitals, universities, schools, and national organizations, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly the energy in the room shifts when people are given the time and space to create. Employees leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected — not only to their team, but to themselves.

Each corporate wellness session is thoughtfully planned and tailored to meet your group’s unique needs — whether your goal is stress reduction, employee appreciation, team bonding, or creating a shared vision through art.

Here’s what you can expect:

1. A Personalized Planning Call

We begin with a consultation to explore your goals, the needs of your team, and the type of environment you want to create. Together, we select a theme and art experience that aligns with your organization — whether that’s mindful relaxation, stress relief, or a collaborative team-building project.

2. A Welcoming, Trauma-Informed Experience

Every session is designed to feel grounding, inclusive, and accessible. There is no art experience required — all activities are beginner-friendly and supportive. My facilitation style blends gentle guidance with space for reflection so employees feel at ease, present, and cared for.

3. A Brief, Impactful Presentation on the Benefits of Creative Wellness

I begin each event with a short, engaging overview of how expressive arts support mental health, stress relief, emotional regulation, and workplace connection. This helps set the tone and allows employees to understand the why behind what we’re creating.

4. AHands-On Art Experience Tailored to Your Team

Each group chooses between:

  • Individual Mindful Art Experiences
Perfect for stress relief, grounding, and personal reflection. Employees work quietly with soft music, allowing them to unwind and reconnect with themselves.

  • Collaborative Group Art Experiences
Ideal for team bonding and strengthening workplace culture. Employees create together, engage in conversation, and walk away with a unified piece to display in the office.

All supplies are provided; your team simply shows up and enjoys.

5. A Calm, Supportive Environment Where Everyone Can Thrive

  • Reduce stress & overwhelm

  • Improve mental clarity

  • Strengthen communication & team cohesion

  • Tonight's class was very relaxing and fun. After a very stressful day, it was nice to be able to try something new and chill. I enjoyed using watercolors for the first time in a while and I'm excited to try this process at home! Thank you!

    - Sarah

  • I look forward to coming to art sessions and this was my first time trying a therapeutic art class. I enjoyed coming to the class. Cat did a good job about setting the chill vibe. I wasn't in a mood to be creative but this session definitely helped ease my mind.

    - Anna

  • I totally enjoyed this class! It helped me to relax and "go with the flow." I could feel the tension leaving my body which is what I needed today. I am an overthinker by nature and this class helped me just be present and in the moment. Thank you so much!!

I have worked with the following organizations and many other hospitals, schools, and smaller corporate organizations.

FAQs

Who are your corporate wellness workshops for?

Any organization — small teams, departments, schools, nonprofits, or large corporate staff. Whether you have 5 people or 30, I can tailor the session to fit your group size, needs, and goals.

What happens in a typical session?

We begin with a short introduction explaining the process and benefits.

Then I guide participants through a creative arts experience (visual art, mindful movement, writing, etc.) designed for stress relief, relaxation, creativity, or team bonding.

At the end, participants reflect (if they choose) and optionally take their art home or finish a group piece.

How long is a session?

Most sessions run 1–1.5 hours, but I offer shorter or longer sessions depending on your organization’s needs.

Do participants need prior art experience?

Not at all. No artistic experience is needed — I guide all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned creatives.

What supplies are needed / provided?

I provide all basic art supplies (paper, paints, brushes, collage materials, etc.). You don’t need to bring anything.

*Option to receive take home creative wellness kits.

What is the cost?

Pricing varies depending on group size, location, length of session, and materials. Once you submit the intake form, I’ll provide a custom quote tailored to your needs.

Can sessions be done remotely or virtually?

Due to the hands-on and materials-based nature of the work, I primarily offer in-person sessions. However, I’m open to creative consultations for hybrid or remote formats depending on the project — feel free to inquire.

How do we book a session or get more information?

Simply fill out the intake form, and I’ll follow up within 24–48 hours to discuss your needs, confirm availability, and build a plan that fits your needs.

What if people don’t finish their art during the session or aren’t “feeling it”?

That’s totally okay and occasionally happens — there is no pressure to finish, perfect, or even speak about what you create. The process is more important than the product. Many participants find the act of spontaneous creation and presence itself beneficial.
