Cat Thomas, MAT is a healthcare-integrated expressive arts specialist and corporate wellness facilitator based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
For over a decade, Cat has worked at the intersection of creativity and healthcare, designing and facilitating evidence-informed arts-based experiences that support stress reduction, burnout prevention, and nervous system regulation in high-demand environments.
Cat completed advanced training in Intermodal Expressive Arts through the Expressive Arts Florida Institute and went on to serve as an Artist-in-Residence within the Arts in Medicine program at Moffitt Cancer Center. In this clinical setting, she facilitated structured creative sessions for patients, caregivers, and medical professionals — supporting emotional processing, resilience, and quality of life through integrative arts practices.
Her years embedded within a healthcare system shaped her understanding of the physiological impact of chronic stress and the role creative engagement can play in supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing outcomes.
In addition to her work in clinical settings, Cat has led workshops and wellness experiences for community groups and professional teams, bringing structured, accessible creative practices to diverse audiences.
Her programs are designed to complement existing employee wellness initiatives and align with preventative health, engagement, and retention goals.
Cat’s approach integrates visual art, guided writing, and embodied practices into structured, beginner-friendly experiences grounded in nervous system awareness. No artistic experience is required.
She partners with organizations seeking innovative, human-centered strategies to support employee wellbeing.
